So I predicted a Pens win last night, and that was not the case, however Crosby had another multi point night. I move to 1-1-0 on the season thus far.
TONIGHT We Preview an Original 6 Matchup
Hockey Battle #006
-------------PREVIEW--------- --
Boston Bruins ( 14-7-1 ) @ Toronto Maple Leafs ( 14-8-2 )
Location: Toronto, ONT, Air Canada Centre
Last 10 Games:
Boston Bruins 9-0-1
Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4-1
Season Series: The season series has not even been close thus far, and that is hard to say just through 2 games. However the Leafs have been outscored 13-2 in the 2 games they've played against the Bruins. The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off of a 3-0-1 road trip, while the Bruins have been 11-0-1 in the month of November, it has definitely been a November to Remember for the Boston club.
The Story: The biggest story here, is a win and the Maple Leafs will stay atop of the North East Division. However the Bruins have 2 games in hand on Toronto and only trail by a single point. Much has been said about the way the Bruins have played in the month of November, and it truly has been remarkable. The Maple Leafs are going to have to come in with a game plan and execute it to the fullest extent tonight in order to win.
Who's on Fire: Zdeno Chara has 16 points in his last 16 games, including 4 Goals. Joffrey Lupul has a 6 game point streak currently, and has acquired 10 points in that span. However the player to watch tonight will be Tyler Seguin, he has absolutely dominated the Leafs thus far, through 2 games he has 4 goals and added 2 assists.
Injury Report: Toronto is expecting to have Grabovski back in the line up tonight, however they are still without James Reimer ( Head ), Colby Armstrong ( Ankle ), Mike Komisarek ( Broken Arm ) and Matthew Lombardi ( Shoulder ).
The Prediction: I'm expecting a strong showing from the Maple Leafs, however I still believe their goaltending without James Reimer is one of the weakest in the league. Expect Boston to throw pucks at the net from every angle. Boston wins this one 4-2, Seguin has another multi point night against the Leafs.
